Karaoke With Calvin Harris

Last night Scotland's Calvin Harris, who just released his debut album I Created Disco, had quite the welcome to the States with a night of crazy karaoke at IBOP Karaoke in New York City hosted by his label Almost Gold. While FILTER and a fun gang of industry mostly ladies in tow sang our hearts out to karaoke classics like The Cure's "Just Like Heaven" and Guns 'n Roses' "Sweet Child O' Mine," Calvin got up and got the room literally bumpin' with his version of R. Kelly's "Ignition" and Snoop Dogg's "Let's Get Blown." The night ended with the entire room singing along with Calvin to his catchy single, "The Girls." Tonight, Calvin Harris will perform for the first time in America at a sold-out show at Mercury Lounge with Gabby Glaser (Luscious Jackson) and Zambri.
