Chart Rundown

Scarlett Johansson hit some fair success with the release of her debut album, taking on Tom Waits classics under the production guidance of TV On The Radio's Dave Sitek, finding the #1 spot on the New Artist Albums chart.  Mates Of State, The Ting Tings and Islands each had noticeable debuts as well, squeaking on to the Billboard 200 charts.  Meanwhile, Death Cab For Cutie continued their remarkable album sales, and Portishead passed the 100K mark.
