As the resident foodie at FILTER, there's not much I wouldn't eat or at least try once. Most people know that I can eat a lot and will keep eating well after I've popped the button on my jeans if there is still food on my plate...
There are some things though, that I stay away from. I won't eat it even if I'm starving (been like this since the age of 5). Here are my top 3 in no particular order:
- Chocolate with fruit - fruit dipped in chocolate, fruit filled chocolate, pretty much anything that involves the two I can do without. I've tried these combos a few times, but I find the texture too gross to swallow and the taste to be like cough medicine (and I'm not talking Dimetapp).
- Cookies - I like the occasional sugar or Girl Scout Samoa cookies, but if you have Oreos, no thanks. I also can't stand the smell of chocolate chip cookies baking in the oven. Makes me feel nauseous.
- Peanut butter and jelly - I'm OK with with jelly. I'm sort of OK with peanut butter. Combining the two especially on toast makes everything really dry for me. It totally reminds me of that one Got Milk? commercial...
What are some food items you can do without? Tell me I'm not the only one who can't stand chocolate and fruit together.

This makes me want to cry. Do you hate bacon too?

3) nuts in food...don't hate peanuts or almonds, just not IN things...I eat around them if I have to
